WBRU:
WBRU is a student run media workshop and radio that blends local and national voices that brings communities together through the fusion of art, music and culture.The legendary station was named the best radio station in the country three years in a row by Billboard and Rolling Stone and hosted some of the biggest up-and-coming bands and artists in the industry.
Team:
I worked closely with five teams of writers and creatives to manage the station, publication, and logistics of a large group of interdisciplinary music lovers.I wrote and co-directed the summer 2021 cohort of station summer employees- a program to revitalize the station. We set up livesession infrastructure to assist the stations transition to a multi-media institution.
I was formerly an editor and writer for B-side Magazine- a music publication focused on young musicians of New England that brings the voice of the youth to the public.
